Our laboratory focuses on the fields of cell and developmental biology, aiming to investigate the principles of biological self-organization from the molecular to the tissue level. Our goal is to uncover the universal regulatory mechanisms of cellular dynamics and provide new insights into the fundamental principles of life. By integrating a range of cutting-edge techniques—including high-resolution optical/electron microscopy, Single-molecule Biophysical techniques, genetic manipulation, and biochemical analysis—we systematically study the structural features, functional mechanisms, and dynamic assembly processes of cytoskeletal complexes during development. In selected research projects, we collaborate with theoretical physicists in an interdisciplinary manner, employing multi-scale modeling approaches for quantitative analysis of biological systems.
